Your Help Keeps the League Running!
The success of Foresthill Divide Little League depends on the support of our dedicated families. Volunteer shifts are critical for ensuring that our league operates smoothly and continues to provide a great experience for our players.
Volunteer Shift Requirements:
· Each player must have 5 adult volunteer shifts* completed on their behalf during the season.
· *At least 1 shift in the Snack Shack is required.
· Families with multiple players must complete 5 shifts per player.
Exemptions:
· Coaches, Assistant Coaches, and Team Parents are exempt from volunteer shift requirements for one player.
· **Tee Ball is exempt from volunteer shift requirements.
Examples:
· Parent A has 1 player on the team → 5 volunteer shifts required
· Parent B has 2 players on the team → 10 volunteer shifts required
· Parent C has 1 player on the team & is a Coach → 0 volunteer shifts required
· Parent D has 2 players on the team & is a Coach → 5 volunteer shifts required
Tracking Shifts: All volunteer shifts must be logged on the FDLL Volunteer Shift Tracking Form via the QR code (provided by Team Parent and posted in the Snack Shack). Failure to complete required shifts may result in additional league fees.

Opportunities include but are not limited to; Coach, Assistant Coach, Team Parent, Umpire, Snack Shack (Cashier, Food Service, and BBQ), Field Set Up & Clean Up, Scorekeeping & Pitch Count, Dugout Support, and Announcer.

Who can volunteer?
· Volunteer shifts do not have to be completed by parents only —teen siblings (16+), grandparents, family friends, and other adults can contribute as well!
· All volunteers (18+) must pass a JDP background check before participating in league activities.

Can my teen work the Snack Shack?
· YES! Teen siblings (16+) must attend a Snack Shack orientation training.
· Teen siblings (16+) can volunteer in 2 ways;
o Volunteer on behalf of the family (counts for volunteer shifts requirements)
o Apply for a job as a Snack Shack worker through the league and get hired to fill vacant Snack Shack shifts.
Where does my teen apply for a job as a Snack Shack worker (age 16-18)?
· Teens (16-18) can apply to get paid to work at the Snack Shack.
· Must complete an interview and attend a Snack Shack orientation training.
· The League’s Snack Shack Coordinator will organize shifts with teens who are hired.
